In our second century with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

This 1950s photo shows the newly completed St. Peter's church building which was built almost entirely by members of the congregation. After forty years in the previous wooden structure, ground breaking was held in May, 1949. Construction began the following summer, 1950, with the cornerstone laying in August of that year. The finished structure rose up on the Arlington Prairie and was dedicated on April 20, 1952. Since then, an addition for an elevator was added in 1990. A second building addition for classrooms and office space was dedicated on January 24, 1999.
